Christmas Present Colour by Number

Here's a fun printable activity for kids at Christmas! Just match up the colours and numbers and get colouring. UK and US versions available.

CHRISTMAS WORKSHEETS

CARNIVAL

 

You will need:

Coloured (preferably purple, gold or green) card, or white card and a selection of paints and crayons to add colour
Sequins, beads, ribbons, glitter, feathers etc to decorate
A hole punch
Glue
Elastic or string for fastening

Instructions:

Cut out a basic mask shape for each child. Draw your own, or use our templates.

Using the hole punch, punch two holes at each end and cut string or elastic to fit.

Encourage each child to decorate their masks to be really "over the top" and fancy!

SEASONS

The children with the hands painted, put their hands in a paper. They decorated the hand in the paper with differnt things depends the seasons.

MOTHER´S DAY AND FATHER´S DAY

You will need:

A5 card (we used A4 and cut in half)
Stickers and any other embellishments that you have
Glue
3 Photographs

Instructions:

Draw two D’s and an A shape onto the card, and cut out. Use a small pair of scissors to cut out the inside of the letters, too (younger children will need adult help or supervision).

Decorate your letters. We simply used stickers but you can use gems, ribbons, sequins, pompoms or anything else from your craft box.

Glue a photo to the back of each letter so that it fills the aperture. Trim any overhanging bits of photo away.

Layer the letters so they overlap slightly, spelling out the word "Dad", and glue together.

You could laminate the photo frame to make it last, or enclose the whole thing within a larger Perspex frame.

Magic Butterflies (Miriam)

 

Materials: 

Toilet paper tubes, paper, finger paints, scissors and glue 

Description:

You give them a roll of paper and the paint as they want, then they give color butterfly wings and cut it . 

Once all colored wings, antennas and body butterfly sticks . Finally  draw the face and the eyes of the butterfly.

Other possibilities is to other animals with toilet paper tubes for example a centipede, a snake or a worm.

Crab plate (Sonia)

Materials: red plastic plate cut in the middle, poster board, glue and safety scissors.

Description: Children have to cut a red plate in the middle and crab's legs. Then they stick in the plate.
Finally, they glue cran's eyes and the result is a beautiful crab.

Egg Carton Goggles (Lydia)

Materials

·         Cardboard egg carton

·         Crayons, markers, paint, stickers...

·         Pen

·         Scissors

·         Ribbon or string

Description

1.     Cut two wells from the end of the cardboard egg carton.

2.     Trim any excess cardboard from the sides.

3.     Make a little hole on the sides with the pen for the ribbon.

4.     Cut using the scissors two circles to do the holes for the eyes.

5.     Ask the child to decorate his mask or goggles using crayons, markers, paint, stickers...

Ocean in a Bottle (Cristina)

What You Do:

1. Pour sand in the bottle. After more or less fill halfway with water ..
2 Pour a drop of the color you choose.
3.Enter shells, stones and other marine objects.
4.Enter silicone bottle cap to latch it closed.
5. enjoy your favorite seabed. It's very relaxing.

Make a Straw Skeleton (Noelia)





What You Need:
-White chalk

What You Do:
Cut the straws into several pieces to make the bones of the skeleton.
After creating the skeleton, gluing each straw in the same way that your, wiht glue , always with help from you.
Then draw the skeleton heas whit white chalk.

Materials:


A plastic plate , ribbons of different colors and shapes, glue and cardboard.

Description:

With ribbons of different colors and various types the kids can create the tentacles of jellyfish.

Children below should stick labels onto plastic plate

What You Need: Plastic plate, hand painting, thread and glue tag.

What You Do: 

First, they will take his plate of plastic. Later with hand painting they will decorate the plate freely. They will use different colors. Beside, they will decorate with sponges or their hands 

When they finish, they will put their sun in a window. It's important use glue tag and thread. 

The children will learn a basic solar sistem.

Materials: Tempera paint and paper

Description: kids paints with their fingers and mix colors like this, They can learn about the enviroment and the mixture of colors with this simple and interesting activity.

Egg Carton Butterfly  (Andrea Sousa)

 




Materials 
Cardboard egg carton 
Scissors 
Tempera paints 
Paintbrush 
Pipe cleaners 
Construction paper

Steps to follow 

First thing we do is to cut BOX eggs in half 

Turn one of the halves upside down and Paint with tempera paint. 


Attach pipe cleaners to the head for feelers. 


Cut wings from construction paper and decorate with paint or markers; staple to the side of the cardboard. 


Use your imagination to make variations; for example, use one cup of the cardboard to make a turtle or a ladybug, use three cups to make a bumblebee, or use a full half cardboard to make a caterpillar 

DAY OF PEACE (Eduina)

Material: cardboard, tempera paint, chopsticks, glue, hands and paintings.

Description: On the day of peace, we create manuals pigeons in commemoration of that day. Children painted with tempera on cardboard hands plasmaran their mark, then paint the beak and eyes, finally to cut back the shape of your hand and stick stick together, creating puppet dove of peace.

Materiales: 

Tubos de papel higiénico, papel, pintura de dedos, tijeras y pegamento 

Descripción:

Les das un rollo de papel y la pintura como ellos quieren, entonces le dan alas de mariposa de color y la cortan. 

Una vez que todo color alas, antenas y palos mariposa cuerpo. Finalmente dibujar la cara y los ojos de la mariposa

Otras posibilidades es a otros animales con tubos de papel higiénico, por ejemplo, un ciempiés, una serpiente o un gusano.

Jellyfish (Carla)

Materiales:

Una placa de plástico, cintas de diferentes colores y formas, pegamento y cartón.

Descripción:

Con cintas de diferentes colores y diferentes tipos los niños pueden crear los tentáculos de las medusas.

Los niños a continuación deben pegar etiquetas sobre la placa de plástico.

Por último, puede hacer que los ojos de medusa con cartón.

Descripción:  niños pinta con los dedos y se mezclan los colores como este, ellos pueden aprender sobre el medio ambiente y la mezcla de colores con esta actividad sencilla e interesante.

Tubo de papel higiénico, pintura de la mano, los ojos pegatinas y cartulinas de colores Descripción:

Si quieres hacer algo con los niños acerca de animales colores y la naturaleza se puede utilizar esta idea. También puede trabajar en el reciclaje, ya que se utiliza tubo de papel higiénico, que están hechas de cartón. Es una manera divertida de reciclar y aprender. Primero usted pide a sus hijos que traen a clase algún tubo de papel higiénico, ellos decoran como quieran con diferentes colores de pintura de la mano y poner los ojos pegatinas en el primer tubo o donde quieren. Finalmente van a pegar los tubos de cartón con forma de hoja. Y se obtiene un CATERPILLAR HERMOSA!

Cartón de huevos Goggles (Lydia)

Materiales

• Cartón de huevos de cartón
• Crayones, marcadores, pintura, pegatinas ...
• Bolígrafo
• tijeras
• La cinta o cadena

Descripción

1. Cortar dos pozos desde el extremo de la caja de cartón de huevos.
2. Recorte cualquier exceso de cartón de los lados.
3. Hacer un pequeño agujero en los lados con el lápiz para la cinta.
4. Cortar con las tijeras dos círculos para hacer los agujeros para los ojos.
5. Pida al niño para decorar su máscara o gafas utilizando cr ayons, marcadores, pintura, pegatinas ...

Hacer un esqueleto Paja (Noelia)

Que necesitas:

Que haces:

Cortar las pajitas en varios trozos para hacer que los huesos del esqueleto.

Después de crear el esqueleto, encolado cada paja de la misma manera que su, pegamento wiht, siempre con la ayuda de usted.

Luego sacan los Heas esqueleto pizca tiza blanca.

Materiales:.

Descripción: Los niños tendrán una caja de zapatos, un cartel de cartón de un color y un lápiz. Los niños van a poner el cartel de cartón en los zapatos de la caja. Cuando el profesor dice un color, el niño que tiene ese color le dará un golpe con el lápiz a la caja de zapatos.

Materiales:. Cartón, pintura al temple, palillos, pegamento, manos y pinturas Descripción: En el día de la paz, creamos manuales palomas en conmemoración de ese día. Los niños pintados con témpera sobre cartón manos plasmaran su huella, y luego pintar el pico y los ojos, por fin de reducir la forma de su mano y palo de permanecer juntos, creando paloma marionetas de la paz.
